It's time for a summer sale!!

In honor of Shark Week, and our favorite toothy visitors down on Cape Cod, I thought it would be fun to make some sugar scrubs inspired by my all time favorite thing: SHARKS!!

What's this you say? How do you make a shark themed sugar scrub??

First I started with a base scent that I used for all six scents...a gorgeous aquatic blend that calls to mind the ocean, and then added different top notes to each one making them unique in their own way.

Here are the sugar scrub scents that will be offered in this sale:

Great White Shark – The Smell of “White Death”: Vanilla, icy white mint, and a dab of eucalyptus over an aquatic base of kelp, ozone, and salty sea air.

Bull Shark – Feral red and blue musks mingled muscadine grapes and a hint of leather over an aquatic base of kelp, ozone, and salty sea air.

Tiger Shark –Fresh citrus and green grass with a splash of Egyptian musk over an aquatic base of kelp, ozone, and salty sea air.

Caribbean Reef Shark – A hint of opium mingled with coconut, fresh pineapples and rum cake over an aquatic base of kelp, ozone, and salty sea air.

Lemon Shark – Yuzu, papaya, and lemon over an aquatic base of kelp, ozone, and salty sea air.
Sleeper Shark - Lavender with a touch of vanilla over an aquatic base of kelp, ozone, and salty sea air.

I will have a few additional items (lip balms etc.) as well that I will list from previous sales but not much - The focus was on Sugar scrubs this time around, since that is by far our most popular item. I do not have any shampoo or conditioner, or the ingredients I need to make them for this sale - sorry! Maybe next time!!

Preview of Halloween Goodies!

Hi all!

I have loaded the products/scents that will be on Sale Saturday October 17th 2015 onto the site - all products will remain listed as "Coming Soon" until 8pm EST on Saturday the 17th when the sale goes live - at that time, you will be able to add items to your carts. It's been two Years, so it's about time for a Fall Halloween Sale!! October 17th 2015!!

Oh how I have missed this! I decided it was time to open the shop at least for a seasonal sale, and appropriately during my most favorite season!

Foaming sugar scrubs in 4 scents: 2 new fall scents, and 2 old favorites!

• Halloween Party - Caramel covered apples, donut eating contests, and spiced cider
• Pumpkin Spice Latte - A Fall staple: rich pumpkin spice coffee with frothy warm milk and a Mallowy-whipped cream topping
• Lemon Curd and Coconut Cream - The most decadent lemon Meringue pie, complete with buttery crust topped with a dollop of coconut cream...
• Thirteen O'clock - The Smell of victory - Fresh long-stem Red Roses and bubbly champagne

Decadent Chocolate Scrub: 1 new Fall scent

• Trick or Treat - Chilly October wind, dead leaves and a sack full of Red licorice whips, chocolate, and Candy Corn (*this is a chocolate scrub made with real chocolate!)

Shower Butter (Moisturize in the shower using a no-mess deodorant type applicator!)

• S'more:  Melty rich chocolate and toasted marshmallows sandwiched between graham crackers

Luscious Lip Butter:

• Pumpkin Cheesecake - a fall favorite, complete with graham cracker crust!

8ml Parfum spray (EDP): (a unisex scent!)

• The Horseman - A headless rider racing through dark woods holding a flaming pumpkin aloft; feral green and black musks, pumpkin pulp, oud, a touch of black leather, and a flame-lit beeswax candle with a wisp of smoke.

Items and scent descriptions will be loaded into the website today, and picture preview will be loaded in the next day or two. All items will appear as "Sold Out" until the time of the sale (8pm EST) on Saturday when they will be able to be added to your cart. The shop will remain open until all or most items have sold. Orders will begin shipping the week following the sale! (Yes, you will have them in time for Halloween!)

Closing the Doors...

Hi all!

I have some sad news - I'll be closing the shop at the end of this year. Between my full time job, less time to be able to do this, and sales falling short of expectations, I had to make the tough choice to close. It won't be a permanent closure, as I hope to reopen again in the future, either for seasonal sales, or full time again down the road.

There WILL be a Black Friday sale - I'll be marking down all remaining inventory, as I am trying to move everything that is currently made. There is also a small amount of Winter  offerings, I just added to the shop.

Anything that is ordered between today and Black Friday will be packed up next weekend to ship on Monday 12/2

I wanted to thank you all again for your patronage, and support over the years, it's been a fun ride!
